Presentation of High Five Museum (Muzeum na 5+) exhibition
The temporary exhibition of the Museum High Five Museum (Muzeum na 5+) is different than our previous ones: it is a wooden grandfather clock, made by former prisoners-of-war in 1984. Its prototype was created by Polish prisoners in Stalag II A Neubrandenburg, 1940.
The new exhibition focuses on that just one item to prompt - in the time we celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Museum - to reflection on the essence of time, crucial both in everyday life of museum workers, but also in the experience of prisoners-of-war, for whom the time passing was a measure of their captivity and a presage of hope of freedom.
You can see the exhibition from May 18 to June 30 in Opole
