You are welcome to visit the Museum and Site of Remembrance
During this holiday season our Museum in Łambinowice provides the perfect opportunity to combine outdoor activities with a history lesson. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
At the present time there are two exhibitions to be visited in Łambinowice. First of them, 'Place with a Scar', is an open-air exhibition located on the site of the former POW camp Stalag 318/VIII F (344) Lamsdorf, along a forest road connecting the Museum with the Monument to the Martyrdom of Prisoners-of-War, which can be traversed both on foot and by bicycle, while enjoying the beauty of the surrounding nature. Admission to the exhibition is free and it can be visited on your own or with a guide. To find out more about 'Place with a Scar', please visit our website: https://www.cmjw.pl/en/wystawy1/wystawy-stale/.
The second exhibition is located at the Museum building. 'I love You, See You...' is a temporary exhibition that focuses on an interesting presentation of love in the context of captivity. The stories and objects on display there showcase the life histories of specific people – men and women in love, separated by the turbulence of history and the drama of war and captivity. This exhibition can be visited until 25 August 2024 and admission to it is also free.
