Workshops during Opole’s Night of Museums – invitation

As every year, we will meet on Saturday evening, 18 May, to celebrate the International Museum Day. On this occasion, the European Night of Museums is held for the 18th time. In Opole, its essence is encapsulated in a unique programme prepared for audiences with different tastes.

Our Museum, following this example, has prepared, among other things, something special for a younger audience - a workshop entitled ‘Był sobie miś’ [‘There was a Teddy Bear’]. The idea of these activities is closely connected with the temporary exhibition ‘I love You, see You...’, as the protagonist on whom the children will focus their attention is a little teddy bear - one of the POW keepsakes presented in the exhibition. To keep the participants happy, the workshops will be given by an expert at handicraft with extensive experience of working with nursery and school children. No wishing to reveal the whole task awaiting them, we will only tell that each of them will leave us with a ceramic mug - beautifully decorated and conveying some important message.

The hour-long classes will be run at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Booking has been open for a few days. The last remaining places are still available - join now!
