When you take a look at what is happening opposite the Łambinowice seat of the Museum, it leaves no doubt - the Łambinowice Commune, after receiving state subsidies, is carrying out renovation works in the Community Centre for Culture, Sports and Recreation (GOKSiR) and in its immediate surroundings.

First of all, changes are visible in the park surrounding the ‘Pandora’ building - a brine graduation tower is being constructed there. The foundations are already in place, the supporting structure is there, and bundles of blackthorn have been already stuffed into in which will ultimately serve as a brine distribution system - distributing the precious aerosol around the structure. The finishing touches are being put to the landscaping and installation of street furniture.

In addition, intensive works are pending on the renovation of the GOKSiR itself. The distinctive building, wherein alongside the former banqueting hall are educational and office facilities and a library, requires special attention due its historic status. The first stage of works involved the construction of a steel structure, reinforced with timber, roofing and comprehensive building work in the administrative section. The next two stages will include the renovation and maintenance works on the banqueting hall and the façade. Tendering process in this regard is pending.
