Poetic All Souls' Day – invitation

As always, as part of the November ‘Łambinowice Museum Meetings’, we would like to invite you to immerse yourself in the aura of the Memorial Site and reflect on what is actually most important in our inevitable passing life and what is contained in the question about the direction of this life journey.

During this meeting, which falls on Wednesday, 6 November, we will hear poetic works by representatives of the Opole Branch of the Polish Writers' Union, who have been associated with the Museum for many years. We will be accompanied by: Harry Duda, Elżbieta Lisak-Duda, Małgorzata Bobak-Końcowa, Edmund Borzemski, Ada Jarosz, Jerzy Stasiewicz, Jan Szczurek, Ewa Maj-Szczygielska and Anna Tlałka.

The spoken word will be complemented by music and sung poetry - thanks to a recital inspired by the poetry of Czesław Miłosz by a special guest, Professor Stanisław Górka, known to Polish audiences for his many theatrical and film performances and his role as the churchman in the popular Plebania soap opera.

We invite you to the Museum building in Łambinowice at 4 Muzealna Street where the meeting will be held at 5.00 p.m.
