Our exhibition at the University in Toruń

Presently, that is from 2 December this year until 14 February 2025, the academic community (but not only) of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (UMK) is provided with the opportunity to see our exhibition. The exhibition is, let us remind you, one of the results of the cooperation between our Museum and the multidisciplinary team coordinated by Dr. Dawid Kobiałka within the framework of the ‘Science for Society, Society for Science at the Site of National Remembrance in Łambinowice’ project. The project, which merged research, social and educational goals, is part of the rapidly developing trend of community archaeology and certainly deserves to be widely popularised, which is why another (and prestigious) place in the ‘timetable’ of our travelling exhibition is so gratifying.

The exhibition was opened on 2 December 2024 by the Museum Director, Dr. Violetta Rezler-Wasielewska who was accompanied by the leader of archaeological works - the aforementioned Dr. Dawid Kobiałka - and, above all, the hosts of the place: Professor Waldemar Rozynkowski and Assistant Professor Maciej Krotofil of the UMK. For the next two months it will be open to the public in the hall of Collegium Humanisticum at the Nicolaus Copernicus University.

You are cordially invited to come and see it!
