Invitation to the Congress on Prisoners-of-War Memorial Sites

In just a few days, on 15 November, we will meet at the SWPS University in Warsaw within the framework of the ‘League of POW Remembrance’ Network (but not only). The purpose of it is networking, i.e. integrating the scattered POW memorials around common tasks and challenges related to the historical heritage of World War II. The event enjoys the honorary patronage of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Hanna Wróblewska.

Their participation in the Congress have been confirmed by experts in the field of history, as well as modern technologies, economics and management of memorial sites, military or education. Although it will be a time of intense talks (starting at 9 a.m., ending at 4 p.m.), no one should feel bored. This is guaranteed by the carefully selected speakers - as many as 19 experts in total.

We would like to remind you that you can still register for the Congress – to attend it either in person or online - so that you can follow it in the most convenient way. The registration form is available here: https://tiny.pl/nzrs_jvg.

The activity, carried out as part of the project, was financed from funds of the National Reconstruction and Resilience Plan - investment A2.5.1. ‘Programme to support the activities of entities from the cultural and creative industries sector to stimulate their development’, and the Self-government of the Opole Province.
