Museum is even more available - tylograph plans

It is at both the Museum's sites, in Opole and Łambinowice, where tylograph plans with tactile elements have been installed for blind and visually impaired visitors.

The tylograph boards contain a convex plan of the building together with a legend labelled in Braille, adapted to the needs of blind and visually impaired visitors. Their purpose is to help with quick orientation in the building's space.

The installation of the boards is yet another step taken by the Museum to increase accessibility for people with disabilities. Since last year, induction loops - devices that assist the hearing-impaired - have been used at both sites. These allow sound to be transmitted directly to the hearing aid, thereby increasing the quality and comfort of hearing.

Both the CMJW’s seats are also equipped with facilities for people with physical impairment - hydraulic lifts, entrances to the buildings located on the ground floor and toilets adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.

We are very pleased that our Museum is becoming more and more accessible for all visitors!
